Marriage Coaching
Private conversations for the hard middle.
Gregory and Carolyn guide couples through private, practical conversations rooted in Scripture and shaped by the real work of restoration — not a lecture, and not a formula.
Change My MarriageWho this is for
If you recognize yourself in one of these, you are in the right place.
Trust was broken.
Betrayal changes the ground you stand on. You do not have to pretend it did not happen in order to begin healing.
Communication shut down.
You talk about schedules and children and money, and somehow never about the thing that actually hurts.
You feel far apart.
Same house, same table, same bed — and a distance neither of you knows exactly how to name.
You are blending a family.
Bringing two families back together is joy and chaos and prayer at once. It helps to have someone walk it with you.
How a session works
What actually happens when you sit down with us.
No intake gauntlet. No homework packet on the first night. We begin with your story.
- First
One honest conversation
We start where you actually are. Both of you say what is true, out loud, in a room where nobody is the villain.
- Then
Naming the real pattern
Most couples are not fighting about the dishes. Together we look beneath the last argument to the pattern that keeps feeding it.
- Then
A Biblical framework
Scripture gives us the shape of what restoration looks like — forgiveness, covenant, oneness, grace — applied to your real week, not in theory.
- Finally
One move toward each other
You leave with clear direction and one practical step. Something you can actually do before the next time you sit down together.

What you leave with
Clear direction, and a Biblical framework you can stand on.
- A shared language for what has been happening between you.
- One practical move toward each other you can make this week.
- A way to have the hard conversation without it turning into the old one.
- A next step, plainly named — whether that is another session or something you do at home.
Questions
The things couples ask us first.
Is this counseling or coaching?
It is marriage coaching, and it is pastoral. Gregory and Carolyn are a pastor and an evangelist, not licensed therapists. We work from Scripture and from the real work of restoration in our own marriage. If what you are facing needs clinical or medical care, we will tell you plainly and help you find it.
Do both of us need to come?
The work is built for both of you, and it goes best when you come together. That said, if one of you is not ready yet, come anyway. You do not have to have your spouse’s agreement before you ask for help.
Is it private?
Yes. What you say in a session stays between the three of us. Nothing is shared, published, or used as an example. You can speak freely.
In person, or by video?
Either. Couples join us in person when they are able, and by video when distance or schedules make that hard. The conversation is the same.
How long is a session?
A first conversation runs about sixty to ninety minutes, because there is a lot to hear and we are not going to rush you. Later sessions are shaped around what you are actually working through.
What does it cost?
Ask us when you write. We will tell you honestly before you commit to anything.
Let’s begin with one honest conversation.
Tell us a little about where you are. We’ll write back and we’ll find a time.
